How Curtis Transformed My Campaign Visuals

I was in the final stretch of preparing a product launch for a new skincare line. The brand needed a fresh, elegant look that would stand out on social media and website banners. I had dozens of design concepts, but none felt quite right until I landed on Curtis.

Curtis is a lovely and beautiful handwritten font with a natural flow that feels both personal and professional. It has a soft, cursive style that’s perfect for creating a warm and inviting mood. The personality of Curtis is gentle yet expressive, making it ideal for content that needs to feel human and authentic.

Choosing the Right Typeface for a Product Launch

The first time I used Curtis was for the main headline of the launch graphic. I wanted something that would catch attention without overwhelming the viewer. Curtis provided that balance—its elegant curves gave the message a sense of sophistication, while its readability ensured the key message wasn’t lost.

I tested it against other script fonts, but Curtis stood out for its clean lines and consistent stroke weight. It didn’t feel too ornate or messy, which is crucial when designing for fast-scrolling feeds and mobile screens.

Using Curtis in Social Media Graphics

For Instagram posts and Pinterest pins, I paired Curtis with a modern sans serif font for body text. This contrast helped establish visual hierarchy and made the information easier to digest. Curtis worked well as the main title for sale announcements, product teasers, and quote graphics.

On YouTube thumbnails, I used Curtis for the title overlay. It looked great against dark backgrounds and still remained legible even when compressed into small previews. That’s a big plus when you’re trying to grab attention in a sea of content.

For email banners and webinar promotions, I used Curtis to create a sense of urgency and excitement. A callout like “Limited Time Offer” in Curtis felt more personal than a standard display font, which helped increase engagement from the target audience.

Designing a Consistent Brand Identity

One of the biggest challenges in campaign design is maintaining consistency across multiple platforms. Curtis helped me build a cohesive brand identity by using the same typeface throughout all promotional materials. Whether it was a landing page header, a digital ad, or a branded template, Curtis brought everything together visually.

I also found that Curtis worked well for decorative titles and logo-style text. Its unique character shapes added a touch of creativity without distracting from the core message. It became a signature element of the campaign, helping with brand recognition and recall.

Readability Tips for Mobile and Small Previews

When designing for mobile, I made sure to use Curtis only for short headlines and callouts. Long paragraphs in a script font can be hard to read on smaller screens, so I kept the body text in a clean sans serif font. This approach improved overall readability and user experience.

I also paid attention to color contrast and background tones. Curtis looked best when paired with light or neutral colors, especially when used in image overlays or transparent backgrounds. Darker shades of Curtis worked well for dramatic effect, but I always tested them on different screen types before finalizing any design.

Font Pairing and Practical Considerations

To make the most of Curtis, I paired it with a complementary sans serif font like Montserrat for body text. This combination created a balanced look that was both stylish and easy to read. For a more luxurious feel, I sometimes used a serif font like Playfair Display alongside Curtis, which added depth to editorial designs and packaging visuals.

I also checked the included styles, alternates, and ligatures in Curtis to ensure it had the versatility I needed. The font came with several weights and file formats, making it suitable for web design, print materials, and digital assets. Multilingual support was another bonus, especially since the campaign targeted an international audience.

Before using Curtis in ads, templates, or client campaigns, I made sure to review the commercial font licensing terms. It was important to have the right permissions for all the platforms where the font would be used, including merchandise, digital products, and branded content.

Overall, Curtis became a go-to font for my creative projects. Its ability to enhance message clarity, strengthen brand identity, and boost engagement made it an essential part of the campaign workflow. Whether I was designing a single graphic or a full promotional set, Curtis helped bring the brand’s voice to life in a way that felt both professional and personable.
